Sprouters Student Wins Governor Radda Sallah Green Prize Worth N500,000!

The Sprouters College is proud to celebrate one of its outstanding students, Anas Yakubu of JSS3, who was selected as the overall male winner of the Climate Change Competition in Katsina and later emerged as one of the top recipients of the prestigious Governor Radda Sallah Green Prize, organized by the Katsina State Government Climate Change Secretariat.

At a grand event held on 23rd April 2025 in Abuja, Anas was awarded a Certificate of Excellence along with a N500,000 cash prize, in recognition of his innovation, creativity, and commitment to environmental sustainability.

This award is a significant part of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda's “Building Your Future” green initiative, which seeks to inspire young minds to develop climate-smart solutions that promote environmental protection and sustainable development across Katsina State and beyond.

Anas Yakubu's achievement reflects the core values of The Sprouters College excellence, creativity, innovation and responsible citizenship. His success serves as a powerful source of inspiration to his peers and a proud moment for the entire school community.
